The Lord Dog Bird

I really like this new band called The Lord Dog Bird. I heard it coming home from the doctors office yesterday and wanted to share. This site has a link to song “The Gift of Song in the Lion’s Den” It’s a really pretty song and I recommend you take a listen if you get the chance. When I heard it on the radio, I was watching a group of children probably around the age of 2 all wearing colorful sunglasses and walking together all holding onto the same rope. They walked single file. During these 15 seconds one little girl fell. I’m not sure what made her fall, but maybe she got distracted by life. The music was playing to the beat of the little legs taping away at the pavement and it was a very fun and a very cinematic moment. Anyways, my point is to enjoy this song and maybe their other ones if you feel inclined.

About their music… “…a human attempt at honoring beauty; a music to help bring about healing and to celebrate change.”

Lovely.

Thanks.

Thoughts of missing

My husband has been gone for most of the month and I miss him.

Thoughts

I am a stay-at-home mom. I love everything about my life and newly found career as a mother. I am an artist though and my thoughts often take me to far off places. Today’s thoughts bring me to the ideas of how to attain the unattainable. Not living in New York or LA, London or Paris, not being an actress or any sort of public figure, not having hundreds of thousands of dollars to buy this and that..How can just I…

to be continued ~baby is up. Thank you for listening thus far….

I’d like to fill my baby girls bedroom with these softlights. They are so beautiful and whimsical. They are a family of flexible honeycomb lighting elements designed to compliment the shaping of an intimate space. There are also softwalls, softblocks and softseating.
